Privacy Policy for Cloud Photos

Last Updated: November 6, 2025

Thank you for using Cloud Photos! This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

  1. Information We Collect

Account Information: We use Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In) to create your account. We collect your basic Google profile information (email address, name) to identify you.

App Data: We use Cloud Firestore to securely save your app-specific data, such as your list of “Favorite” photos, your “Albums,” and your “Pro Subscription” status.

  1. Third-Party Cloud Access (OneDrive & Dropbox)

To display your photos, the app requests permission to access your OneDrive and Dropbox accounts.

We do not copy, save, or upload your photos or videos to our servers. The app only streams them from your cloud account directly to your device.

We store authentication “refresh tokens” securely and encrypted on your device (using flutter_secure_storage) so you don’t have to log in every time you open the app.

  1. Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports to help us find and fix bugs. This data does not contain your personal information.

  1. Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated app data (Favorites, Albums, Pro status) at any time by using the “Delete Account” button in the app’s drawer.
